Information from A to Z

Here you can find out about how we run things at Springtime. We need your help to keep this organisation running as smoothly as possible!

If you would like a place for your child at our setting, please make an appointment and we'll gladly take the time to explain everything you need to know. You can make an appointment by phone or by using our contact form. We look forward to meeting you!

Application deadline for 30 free hours

AUTUMN TERM  2021 (September)

Did you know, if parents want to start taking their 30 hours free childcare this autumn term, they need to apply through Childcare Choices on or before 31st August 2021? Otherwise, any parent that applies from 1st September 2021 onwards will not be able to take up their free extended hours until 1st January 2022 (as set out in the Department for Education's Statutory Guidance).

What happens if my child is ill?

It's unavoidable that small children catch all kinds of minor infections. For a speedy recovery and to prevent the other children from falling ill, children who are unwell must stay at home. Only when the fever has subsided for a whole day should you return your child to the nursery.

If the disease is infectious, we may need a doctor's note confirming that your child is no longer contagious.

For more information, please check out our Sickness and Illness policy and Covid-19 policy.

We would like to remind all parents of our policy regarding sickness within the Guidance of Surrey County Council and Health Protection Agency.

(This refers to our sickness and illness policy and covid-19 policy).
